Today
Today is the day I start taking back my life. i have lived in fear for too long: fear of inadequacy, fear of failure, fear of regret, fear of the unknown. I refuse to live i fear any longer. Today I start living for me. I will put pen to paper for me, with no thought of how others will perceive my work. I'll write for me. I will look for a place of my own and not stick to what is known and easy. I will find a place that feels like home and where I can express myself by decorating. Its time to find a new job while I search for a career. Some people touch my life briefly, and others are here forever. I will enjoy each relationship for as long as it is in my life, but focus on the lasting ones. It is okay to be generous, but I will no longer be taken advantage of. Its time to expect to get as good as I give. This is my time to be a little selfish and focus on ME.

Flowing wonderfuly
I ended up staying up waaaayyyyy too late tonight, but the words have been coming out freely and I wanted to take advantage of it while it lasts. Here's the next installment:
Just as she was about to tumble over the edge Lexi woke up, panting as if she was having sex. Her heart was racing and she was soaked with sweat. Logan had been plaguing her dreams for the past two weeks and Lexi was getting sick of it. Why he was suddenly occupying her subconscious again, she had no clue.
After three years she was over him, or she reminded herself every time she awoke panting and wishing he was here to make the ache between her legs go away. He walked away and chose her, chose to be with a woman who would only manipulate him and break his heart. His loss, but she needed to get back to sleep. There was a big meeting with a potential new client tomorrow and she had to make a kick ass presentation.

Logan walked into (insert name of firm) and was greeted by a receptionist named Emily. Emily’s classic good looks were what Logan usually went for, but for some reason he didn’t feel the slightest bit of interest. Based on the slow perusal and the giant smile that spread across Emily’s face she was definitely interested. It was too bad she wasn’t doing it for him.
“How can I help you?” she asked breathily.
“I’ve got a meeting with Chloe Manning. I’m Logan Frasier with (Insert company name).”
“Okay. I’ll inform Chloe that you’re waiting after I show you to the conference room.” Emily stood up and walked towards the back, putting a little extra sway into her hips. After being left alone, Logan went to look out the window; the conference room had a great view of the Willamette River.
With a swift knock Chloe walked into the room and before she could say anything Logan felt a prickling of awareness, the kind he’d only experienced with one person. Maybe this meeting was going to be better than expected. Turning he heard a gasp and was shocked to see who it came from. After all this time, the one who ran away with his heart was standing right in front of him.
Lexi couldn’t believe it, the one man she’d moved to Portland to avoid was standing in her conference room, he was her potential client. Wow, talk about fate throwing a curveball. Then again, this felt more like a punch in the gut and a mockery of what once was.
Struggling for professionalism Lexi extended her hand and said, “Welcome to (Name) Mr. Frasier. I’m Alexis Laurens, Chloe and I will be joining forces to show you why we are the perfect firm to meet all of your company’s needs.”
Just as Lexi was getting ready to congratulate herself on her professionalism, Logan replied, “Do you really think I could have forgotten you Lexi? It hasn’t been that long.”

Rewrote last night's post
I woke up this morning with the words from last night rolling around in my head. It was a lot easier to get what I wanted to say out today, so I rewrote most of what I posted last night. In the process I saw lots of errors (sorry for that). This is a better version of what was posted yesterday:
He was braced at her entrance, hesitating for one more second to ask, “Are you sure?” his thick head probing for her entrance. His body tensed, holding back for her approval.
Smiling, she bucked her hips until she felt him slide in a quarter of an inch. “Does that answer your question babe?” she teased, loving the play of candlelight on his firm muscles.
“God, I love you,” he panted before reaching down to capture her mouth in a rough kiss. “If I’m going too fast or hurting you just say so. I’ll stop, even if it kills me.”
Lexi could feel her muscles stretching to accommodate Logan’s cock as he gently pushed into her. Everyone told her the first time was painful and never any good, but she disagreed. The care Logan was taking to make sure he didn’t hurt her and the love reflecting in his eyes made this the best experience of her life.
A gentle nip at the underside of her breast brought Lexi back into the moment, all thoughts gone and her focus on the onslaught of sensations. Logan suckled her right nipple and thrust the rest of the way in. The feel of him buried to the hilt inside her sent a new wave of moisture between Lexi’s legs.
Logan began pumping in and out of Lexi and she matched each of his thrusts with one of her own. She could feel the pressure of an orgasm building, the peak getting closer with each second. Logan reached between them to flick her clit. Once, twice, and…
Just as she was about to tumble over the edge Lexi woke up, panting as if she was having sex.

Ugh!
I wrote a little more tonight, but I'm tempted to just hit the delete button on it all. The idea of what I want the beginning to be is there, but it feels choppy and impersonal. Well, here it is. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
“Are you sure?” he asked, bracing himself over her, his thick head probing for her entrance.
She could see how difficult it was for him to hold back. After taking a moment to admire the candlelight dancing across his face, Lexi brought him down for a kiss. Shifting purposfully, she felt Logan slip in a quarter of an inch. “Does that answer your question babe?”
“God, I love you,” he panted before reaching down to capture her mouth in a kiss. “If I’m going too fast or hurting you just say so. I’ll stop, even if it kills me.”
